Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". Front flap has original price intact and a sale sticker. Sale sticker is also on rear of dust jacket which is a little discolored and shows rubbing on flap fold.

Clean and crisp interior. Dust jacket has price intact. Corners have creasing and chipping loss, about 1"X1/2" at most. Bottom edge of front and top of rear panels have pieces missing. Top and bottom of spine have chipping and fraying. Hinges show some rubbing and rear panel shows spotting on light background. Now in protective cover.
