With memorial piece on Amon Carter, Jr., who died June 23, 1955. Carter is pictured on the front cover in the clouds above Amon Carter Square in Fort Worth, astride his horse and alongside his old friend Will Rogers, also horseback. Price 50c on cover. Laid in is 'Today's Program' for Matinee, Sat., Jan. 28th, 1956, and listed among the contestants are 5 time world champion Jim Shoulders and 2 time world champion Casey Tibbs. 56 pp. 8-1/2"WX 10-3/4"H. Stapled binding with light wear on hinge, especially on ends. Corners have light wear, and lightweight wrappers have a little creasing. Sturdy, bright and clean copy.

Tight copy with tan cloth boards which show three light damp stains on front board, also reflected on inside dust jacket. They do not affect front of jacket nor interior of book. Slight wear to corners and spine ends. Previous owner's name on front free end paper and a few instances of highlighting of text. Maroon glossy dust jackt shows some rubbing and wrinkling. Wear to folds and edges. A little chipping on edges and one tiny tear on top front edge.
