A.C. Greene's 50+ Best Books on Texas

A. C. Green has left us, but his love of Texas, its various parts, its history and literature lives through his bright and lively work. Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". Dust jacket has price intact. Rubbing shows on red background on flap folds and hintes. Corners have light chipping, and spine ends have fraying and chipping. Edges have creasing and a few small closed tears. Now in protective cover.

Slight discoloration in cloth of hinges, rear and front. Light minor corner and spine end wear. Clean interior. Top page edge has foxing, and forward page edge has a spot or two of foxing. Front end paper has penciled in gutter, "Amon Carter Museum, 3-18-73, $12.50 + .63 tax". Laid in is a brochure from the Fort Worth centennial, 1873 - 1973, held at the Amon Carter Museum. Dust jacket shows early Fort Worth scene. It has light chipping on corners, and spine ends show minor shelfwear. Top front edge has two or three small closed tears. Light background shows some rubbing and light spotting.
