A. C. Green has left us, but his love of Texas, its various parts, its history and literature lives through his bright and lively work. Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". Sponsored by International Radiation Protection Association, meeting at Rome, Italy, Sept. 5-10, 1966. Two volumes both with dust jackets. Books are bright and clean with some bumping on corners. Black boards have gilt design and print crisp and bright. Dust jackets have tearing along spine and edges but are whole and intact. Some slight soiling on bottom page edges. Oversized set. Heavy books in more ways than just weight.
