A. C. Green has left us, but his love of Texas, its various parts, its history and literature lives through his bright and lively work. Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". "Catalogue of an Exhibit Organized by Bernard Danenberg Galleries, New York". 159 Illustrations, 92 Full Color. Book is clean and crisp with navy cloth boards and silver artwork - representative of Rockwell's little girl playing dress-up before a mirror - minimum wear. Previous owner's address label on inside front pasted down page. Dust jacket is crisp and bright with one of Rockwell's timeless heart-warming works on the front. A little creasing and rubbing. Very nice copy.
