Advance Presentation Selection for our Friends in the Book Trade - Signed on so noted page, "Greetings, Mari Sandoz". 1st Ed., 1st Ptg. Front pasted down paper has previous owners names on book plate, crossed out and replaced by later owner. Rear pasted down paper has penciled alphanumeric note on top right margin. Clean text block. Clean brown cloth boards with very minor corner and spine end wear. Dust jacket has price intact with corner, spine and edgewear. Chipping/tearing on all corners with tearing/creasing on edges. Spine ends have chipping with loss especially on top with 3 fairly large chips missing. Rear top edge has triangular piece missing, 1" W X 1/2"D. Light color of rear panel has some discoloration.

New York Hastings House 1961 First Edition Hard Cover Very Good Very Good Bad Heart Bull; Kills Two
Illustrated by Sioux artists. 118 pp. Red cloth boards with black drawing and print. Clean copy with light edge and corner wear. Front free end paper has eraser scuff and end papers have 1" separation at top of gutter. Dust jacket is bright - edge and corner chipping as well as on spine ends with a little loss. Back panel has original price sticker and white background shows dark rubbing. Pencilled initials on inside of front flap. Flap folds and inside shows a little spotting which does not show on outside. Now in protective cover.
