A. C. Green has left us, but his love of Texas, its various parts, its history and literature lives through his bright and lively work. Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". Light edgewear with bumping on corners and spine ends. Upper corner of front free end paper has ".50" in faded ink and title page has embossed seal of previous owner. Dust jacket has chipping on corners and spine ends. Creasing on edges with a few small tears. A few very small spots of rubbing show on the front cover.

Douglas Wilder. Tight and crisp copy with very light wear to boards and very faint smudging on bottom page ends. Else clean inside and out. Dust jacket has slight corner bumping and top spine has some creasing. Creasing along edges of back cover with a little chipping on bottom. Red of spine has faded somewhat. Nice copy.
