A. C. Green has left us, but his love of Texas, its various parts, its history and literature lives through his bright and lively work. Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". Bottom corner of front free end paper has smudging, and rear free end paper has staining and spotting. 154 pp. Dust jacket is creased and worn with large (up to 1 1/2" X 1") chips missing on top front edge and on top spine edge. Smaller chip missing on rear top corner. Rubbing on edges and hinges and on rear panel. Rear flap has stain on upper portion. Now in protective cover.
