Author Austin trained with the Canadian soldiers who made the attack at Dieppe, the "Canadian Dunkirk", an early attempt to invade Nazi-held France. The book is fine but for yellowing from age -- this was wartime paper -- and an inscription on title page, "For Pat". Dust jacket is price clipped and has edgeware with some chipping on top & bottom edges.
