Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". Book is tight with slight wear along spine and on edges. Pages yellowing on ends. Dust jacket has chipping on spine ends and slight chipping on corners. Price is marked through and there are small penciled numbers on rear flap. Small tears on top and bottom edges. Rubbing on hinges and folds. Colors bright on smudged and darkening white background. Very nice copy.
