Michener, the master of taking history and breathing life into it with a whopping good story tackles Texas history which is colorful and exciting to begin with. Typical of Michener, it is 1096 pages long. This copy is a first edition, 2nd printing. It is tight with light wear to boards. There is light soiling on page ends and shelf wear on bottom page ends. Clean interior. Dust jacket has creasing on edges and two small slits on front which do not go through to book board. Very nice copy.
