Top edge of spine is frayed with a 1/2" tear - does not affect sturdiness of book. Front free end paper has previous owner's bookplate. Text block has several instances of underlining in red. Paper clip crease on a couple of page tops, and light shelf soiling on bottom page edge. Dust jacket is intact - with the aid of extensive tape repair on inside at spine. Significant wear with pieces missing. White background is rubbed and soiled. Good reference/work copy.
