Author's first book. 596 pp. Black cloth boards have slight corner and spine end wear. Bottom edge of front board has small indention (bump) and front edge of top board is very slightly cupped. Page edges have light foxing and a little soiling. Early price in grease pencil on front free end paper. A couple of pages have foxing, and top edge of one interior page has small crease and a very slight tear. No dust jacket.
