Nunn was the Amon G. Carter Professor of American History at TCU - this is a little known history of Texans, Confederates, who fled to Mexico to avoid Reconstruction. Signed and inscribed by Nunn on front free end paper, which also bears name of previous owner. 140 pp. Book is crisp with slight tanning of page edges. Very minor right lean. Tan cloth of boards has a little spotting at base of front board and spine. Dust jacket has chipping with a few small ships missing, and several closed tears. Light background shows a little smudging with substantial rubbing/smudging on rear panel.
