Greene, in his literate and plainspoken way, gave us the great gift of a guide to Texas literature in 1982, "The 50 Best Books on Texas" and in the 1998 revised version, The 50+ Best Books on Texas". Small format quarto, 7"W X 10"H. 272 pp. Tight and crisp copy with black boards showing very light edge wear. Bottom edge has remainder spray, but interior is clean and bright. Dust jacket has creasing and chipping to spine ends, corners and edges. Rear panel has a faint spot near upper corner and a few mall closed tears. Rear hinge area has 1/2" closed tear mid way. Now in protectie cover.
